Use of the tools
The tools on SnipKit are free to use for any purpose, personal or commercial. Generated code, snippets, palettes, regexes, and any other output the tools produce belong to you. No attribution is required, and no license restrictions apply to what you do with the output.
What you can't do
- Don't scrape or automate the site to extract content at scale — the tools are meant for humans, not bots.
- Don't resell the tools as a paid service. Wrapping our interfaces in a paywall and charging for access is not allowed.
- Don't use the tools to generate content for spam, fraud, harassment, or abuse.
- Don't attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse-prevention measures, or any other technical safeguards.
Intellectual property
The SnipKit brand, logo, name, and the source code of the site itself remain the property of Jeremiah Ruanes. The generated outputs from the tools — your CSS, your JSON, your color palettes, your regex patterns — are yours. You don't need our permission to use them, ship them, or sell products built with them.
No warranty
The tools are provided “as is” with no guarantees of accuracy, availability, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Test what you generate before shipping it to production. The tools are useful but they are not infallible — treat their output the same way you'd treat code from any other source.
Limitation of liability
If a tool gives you wrong output and you ship it anyway and your site breaks, that's on you, not on us. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither SnipKit, Jeremiah Ruanes is liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the outputs of the tools.
Account terms
SnipKit doesn't have public user accounts, so most account-related terms simply don't apply. The only thing you can subscribe to is the email newsletter, which you can cancel at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
